This morning, I woke up thinking of a line from a song we sang at Mass when I was young, "Ponder anew what the Almighty can do."

Sunday morning our Pastor told the story from (Luke 24: 13-26), of Jesus between resurrection, and recognition. He was walking with two men who were excited about Jesus and were spreading word about Him. But the unthinkable happened their hero was beaten and hung. Now they were sad, like when you're small and someone you trust tells you there is no God. They were discussing it on the road to Emmaus; Jesus started to walk with them. Somehow their eyes were veiled from the fact that He was indeed who they were mourning. They thought

He knew nothing about what had just happened, they were like, what do you live under a rock?

Then He began to show them Messiah, the promised one all throughout scripture. They were like wow Jesus really was the promised one! Jesus kept walking as they turned off for home, but they begged Him to sup with them. As He broke bread at their table their eyes were opened. And they said, "did not our hearts burn within us as He was talking on the way"! They Saw Jesus!

At Woman's bible study last night, we were discussing the special care in which God created this world, and how everything (except the garden, that-he planted) and every other living creature was created by Him speaking it into existence but humans...

ree

He formed from the dust and made in His own image and intimately breathed life in our nostrils. and lovingly planted us in the garden.

I'm pondering anew His bread breaking, garden planting, human forming hands!
